One Hot Shot won the SD Paint Futurity Select Younger Division and the SD Paint Futurity Rancher Younger Division as a weanling.  He also took 3rd in the Open SD Paint Futurity that same year.  As a yearling, he was Reserve Champion in the Longe-Line Futurity at the AAHA Futurity Show.  He was also the Grand Champion Stallion at 2 AAHA shows.  He was also the Reserve Champion Yearling Halter Stallion at the SD Paint Futurity.
