| I,__________________________, (owner of the mare),
hereby agree to breed ________________________,(name of mare) to
________________________ (name of stallion). The registration
number of my mare is ______________ and my mare is _____ years
old. I agree to breed to the stallion selected above for the
amount of _________ and $8.00 a day for mare care or a derived
shipping cost.
The following are terms and
conditions of the agreement.
1. The breeding fee of the amount
stated above is due at the mare's arrival and the mare care is due
at the time of departure. If semen is shipped, a check or
money order must be attached to a completed contract and a copy of
the mare's papers.
2. Bebo Quarter Horses agrees to
diligently try to settle the mare. If however, she doesn't
settle, the stallion owner and/or employees will not be held
responsible.
3. If semen is shipped, the breeding
fee, copy of papers, and this completed contract must be sent to
us before any other actions apply.
4. Bebo Quarter Horses has a live
foal guarantee. This guarantees the mare owner a live
standing colt. This guarantee applies only if we are
contacted within one week of the foaling date. A signed
veterinarian's statement must be sent to us within a month of that
same foaling date. If the mare dies or becomes unfit to
breed, the mare may be substituted for another mare. If the
mare is sold all guarantees between the mare owner and breeder do
not apply.
5. All mares being live-covered at
our place must be up to date on their flu, sleeping sickness,
worming, and distemper shots. If the mare is going to breed,
she should be healthy and ready to breed upon arrival. Mares
also should be flushed.
6. The owner of the mare is
responsible for all veterinarian bills and medicine for the mare
while she is at Bebo Quarter Horses.
7. This contract represents the
entire agreement between the two parties.
